HERTZ ML2500.1 10" MILLE LINE subwoofer The new Hertz ML subwoofers add to the Mille line with their three models, respectively with a 250, 300 and 380 mm diameter and with a power that goes from 1200 W to 1800 W. The anti-resonant aluminium basket eliminates any possibile distorsion caused by acoustic compression, thanks to its deep, carved spokes. The rubber surround is made with the V-CONE technology which, thanks to the unique exponential curve without dust caps, ensures the ideal sound damping and a distortion-free reproduction. The Coated Foam surround and the Conex spider contribute to the maximum symmetry of the motor assembly contribute remarkably to the linear motion of all moving parts of the subwoofer, support this moving mass even in extreme conditions as those found in competition vehicles. The voice coil cooling system is based on a system of radial holes positioned on the center pole and ending at the bottom of the magnet: this solution grants the 30% reduction of the speaker working temperature raising the power handling beyond limits. The magnet assembly is provided with an aluminium ring in the air gap which reduces the voice coil inductance modulation at high excursions, for a deeper, tighter, more precise bass.
